Milwaukee Christian Center 12th Annual Bowl-a-thon

The registration fee is $25 per person and includes the cost of three games of bowling, shoes, and Bowl-a-thon T-shirt. Bowlers turning in $100 or more in pledges on the day of bowling will receive a reduced registration fee ($15).
Bowlers and friends of MCC can create an online personal fundraising page at www.firstgiving.com/21240. Email all your friends, family, co-workers, and church members to request support of your efforts to address poverty issues!
Silent Auction and raffle! Trophies will be awarded in various team and individual categories immediately following the bowling.

MCC Teens attend Youth Gathering
April 2-5, 2009
Nine teens and two MCC youth program staff attended the Forest County Potawatomi Youth Gathering from April 2-5, 2009 in Carter, Wisconsin. The theme for the cross-cultural gathering was “Diversity Through Unity in 4 Directions”. The participating youth committed to work for up to one year with the “Milwaukee Diversity Unity Youth Leadership Council” to enrich other youth in Milwaukee County.

Enthusiastic bowlers packed the New Berlin Bowl on March 14th ready to help the Milwaukee Christian Center Strike Out the Effects of Poverty! MCC raised over $14,000 with the help of our bowlers, lane sponsors, silent auction donors, bowler sponsors, volunteers and friends.

Lance Allan, Today’s TMJ4, was our Celebrity Bowler for the third year in a row. Lance stated, “The Milwaukee Christian Center is a place I believe in. They don't just talk about helping those in need...they're in it.” Lance and JanMarie Lambert, MCC Executive Director, presented 8 trophies in various categories to deserving bowlers.
Antonio and Victoria were crowned King and Queen of the dance.
